Goal and Objectives:

  • Maintain an up-to-date resource for the nutrient content of all available medical foods and infant formulas.
  • Promote research activities within the field of metabolic nutrition.
  • Disseminate information about current research in the field of metabolic nutrition.

 

Activities:

  • Update nutrient content of medical foods and infant formulas annually.
  • Post a list of current literature that pertains to nutritional management of metabolic disorders by disorder and areas of practice.
  • Provide guidance for the preparation and submission of abstracts for presentation at GMDI conferences.
  • Oversee the evaluation of the submitted abstracts for the GMDI biannual conference.
  • Provide links to research trials currently recruiting subjects.
