Goals and objectives for 2010:
Activities:
1. The NCP subcommittee will continue to work with Donna Patel at the ADA to on the language and classification for inherited inborn errors.
2. Work on identifying and listing reliable health care resources for PKU and MSUD.
3. The Education Committee will investigate offering a certification within GMDI. This would be potentially similar to the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) certification for nutrition support dietitians or the certification of diabetes educators (CDE) offered by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators.
