GMDI Educational Conference
"Navigating Changes in Nutrition Management of Genetic Disorders"

Baltimore Hyatt Regency
Baltimore, MD April 15-17, 2010

The third GMDI educational conference is for dietitians and other healthcare providers who are involved in the nutritional management of individuals with inherited metabolic disorders. 15 CPE's have been applied for from the American Dietetic Association. Conference fee includes: two breakfasts, two lunches, a wine and cheese reception and snack and beverage breaks.

Conference Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
 

  • Identify nutritional management strategies for the treatment of genetic metabolic disorders.
  • Discuss how advances in genetics, technology and industry impact the field of genetic metabolic nutrition, and the role these advances play in the nutritional care of children and adults with metabolic disorders.
  • Identify the clinical nutritional concerns for individuals on semi-synthetic diets.
