We welcome abstracts which are case studies, successful educational tools, development of new services and clinics, public policy efforts, and current research in the nutritional management of inborn errors of metabolism.
Abstracts may be submitted (in English) describing new work and research relevant to inborn errors of metabolism. Two abstracts will be selected for oral presentation. Other accepted abstracts will give poster presentations.

Text: 250 words or less, single-spaced, no tables or figures in the abstract. Include objective(s), methods, results, discussion and conclusion
Funding Disclosure(s)
Abstracts must be submitted online.
Abstract selection procedure
All abstracts will be reviewed by the GMDI Research Committee. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified via e-mail by January 15, 2020 Two abstracts will be selected for oral presentation. Specific instructions for either the oral presentation or poster format will be sent to you if your abstract is accepted. Authors of oral presentations will be asked to provide learning objectives.
Travel Awards
GMDI is pleased to offer a $250 travel award to one author of each abstract selected for oral presentation. Travel award recipients will be notified by January 15, 2020.
SIMD Meeting Abstracts
You may submit the same/similar abstract to both meetings. The SIMD Abstract Submission Deadline is November 30, 2019
